Utah State Capitol
With winter weather raging outside, Justin and Abigail opted for an indoor bridal session. The Utah State Capitol building made the perfect, classy backdrop for their session. We started the off the session with a first look, before taking their bridal portraits.
We decided to have Justin stand at the top of the stairs as he waited for his future bride. Abigail looked beautiful in her blush, lace covered ballgown. She carried a bouquet full of jewel-toned flowers. Justin was absolutely ecstatic to see his soon to be bride! I love the photos of Abigail waiting at the bottom of the stairs, beaming with excitement. After the first look, we had a lot of fun exploring the beautiful capitol building, finding places for their photos. The marble of the capitol provided a soft, romantic color palette for the session. The grand staircase reminds me of Cinderella, especially in the shot of Justin and Abigail walking up the stairs hand-in-hand.
I’m incredibly grateful Justin and Abigail asked me to be their photographer! We had so much fun together, and I was so honored to get to know their beautiful love story. I know that the future will hold amazing things for them!
