Gilbert Temple Arizona

Helaman and Lexy had a beautiful wedding at the Gilbert, Arizona Temple. I was so excited when they asked me to fly out and capture their special day. Arizona holds a special place in my heart, so I was especially excited for their wedding! I know Lexy from my time as a missionary in Arizona. We met when I served in her church congregation in 2017, and we stayed in touch through social media. She reached out about taking her engagement and wedding photos, and I was absolutely honored that she asked!

Helaman and Lexy had an absolutely stunning wedding day. The temperature was a perfect 70 degrees as friends and family gathered outside the Gilbert Arizona temple, waiting for Helaman and Lexy to come outside. After they visited with family and friends for a few minutes, we took about an hour of photos. The Gilbert Temple grounds are full of flowers, succulents, and palm trees, making it the perfect backdrop for their group photos and bridal photos. My favorite shots of the day are of Helaman and Lexy running together and laughing.

They had a reception at a nearby home later in the day. The evening was full of mingling, smiles, and dancing. I absolutely loved their autumn-inspired reception, complete with apple cider and hot chocolate. Everything was beautifully styled, and showcased Helaman and Lexy’s love story beautifully. The night ended with a creative balloon send off!
